Design and build integration solutions for specific business problems or project requirements.
Act in the role of Subject Matter Expert, Analyst or Developer as required
Design the component of a solution covering a technical or application domain as a member of a team of developers for a project involving multiple domains
Provide input to or develop business systems solutions, estimates and specifications
Assist with investigations into potential solutions, liaise with relevant technical experts and contribute to solution design and costing
Provide timely and effective advice on progress and ability to meet service and solution deliverables within agreed expectations
Produce thorough and effective unit and system test plans and participate and/or support further testing phases
Conform to security quality assurance standards and agreed processes within the department
Support application software by analysing and fixing problems
Work collaboratively maintaining ongoing dialogue and relationships with Stakeholders as part of continued solution development and support.
Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes
Demonstrate excellent customer service behaviours
Effectively manage business stakeholder expectations and requirements
Utilise Agile methodologies where appropriate in your work
Contribute to production support including out of hours on-call on a rostered basis and for major releases
Skills looking for:
Mandatory:
Proficient in MS technology stack i.e. VB/VB.NET and C/C#
Excellent working knowledge on MS platforms (Win7/10, Windows Server 2008/2012 and above)
Proficient in Microsoft SQL
Good environmental troubleshooting skills, (e.g. printer issues)
