Proficiency in programming with Scala Spark, R, Python, Java, C, Golang or equivalent
Expertise in data modelling with relational (RDBMS) and/or noSQL databases
Experience with NiFi, Kafka, Hadoop (HIVE etc), SPLUNK, Cassandra, Hbase
Data Structure & Algorithms and Analytical skills with solid experience working with large data sets from multiple sources utilizing Big Data tools and techniques for the purposes of analysing, providing insight and validating hypotheses using appropriate statistical techniques
Ability to decide on the needed hardware and software design needs and act according to the decisions as well as develop prototypes and proof of concepts for the selected solutions
Experience with designing solutions for data acquisition, ingestion, integration, transformation to meet business requirements
Ability to translate analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for business, process or product improvements
Good knowledge of discrete mathematics, linear algebra and statistics
